The desire to have a comprehensive literature on Employees Compensation Act, the current Act in Nigeria governing compensation for work-related injuries and disabilities, gave birth to this book. Hitherto, there is no book completely devoted to this area. This book provides an easy understanding of the present Employees Compensation scheme in Nigeria including the procedures for claim of compensation and the inherent challenges in the scheme which the law has not yet addressed. The book explains and presents easy steps any employee or their dependants need to follow in order to be entitled to any award of compensation.
